The VMIVME-2536 optical coupled digital I/O board is an industrial grade digital input/output module based on the VME bus. It achieves signal transmission through optical isolation, effectively preventing electrical interference and noise, and is suitable for use in complex industrial environments.
Core Features
Digital channel: Provides 32 optical coupling inputs and 32 optical coupling outputs, totaling 64 digital channels.
Optical isolation: Both input and output channels use optical isolation to provide high voltage isolation capability and enhance the system’s anti-interference performance.
Input/output mode: The input can detect voltage or switch contact status, and the output is usually an open collector, suitable for driving devices such as relays and indicator lights.
Status indication and self check: The board is equipped with LED indicators to indicate the status of each channel, and has built-in testing functions to facilitate online or offline detection of channel faults.
Data access: Supports 8-bit, 16 bit, and 32-bit data access modes, and communicates with the main control CPU through the VME bus.
Technology and Interface
The input voltage range is generally from 5V to 125V DC.
The output voltage can withstand about 50 V, and the typical output current is about 300 mA.
Adopting a 6U Eurocard size, it can be inserted into the VME chassis backplane, and on-site wiring is completed through DIN interfaces or backplane adapters.
The software can read or write the status of each channel through mapping registers.
