SST-PFB-SLC communication module
Introduction: SST-PFB SLC is a PROFIBUS-DP master/scanner module designed by SST (now Rockwell) for the Allen Bradley SLC 500 series PLC.
1. Compatible with SLC 5/03 and above processors, native compatible with AB SLC 500 series PLCs.
2. PROFIBUS-DP master/slave dual-mode, the master can scan up to 96 slave devices.
3. The communication baud rate is 9.6Kbps~12Mbps, supporting full standard rates and adapting to different network conditions.
4. Single slave station supports 244 byte input+244 byte output, with strong data throughput capability.
5. The independent main station has a scanning cycle as low as 1ms, does not rely on SLC logic scanning, and has high real-time performance.
6. Onboard 512KB Flash and 512KB RAM, supporting configuration storage and firmware upgrades.
7. Equipped with a 9-pin D-Sub PROFIBUS interface and a 9-pin RS-232 configuration port, the wiring and debugging are convenient.
8. Backboard 5V DC power supply, 700mA low-power operation, compatible with industrial rack power supply specifications.
9. Industrial grade anti-interference design, operating at a wide temperature range of 0 ℃~50 ℃, suitable for harsh workshop environments.
10. IP20 protection level, standard cabinet installation, dustproof and moisture-proof, suitable for control cabinet scenarios.
11. COMM and SYS status indicator lights display communication and operational faults in real-time, providing intuitive diagnosis.
12. Supports mapping I/O data to SLC I, O, M0, M1 files, making programming docking easy.
13. Can be used as a DP slave station to connect to other master stations, supporting 122 word input+122 word output data interaction.
14. Compatible with SST ProfiBus configuration tool, efficient parameter setting and firmware upgrade operations.
15. Widely used in manufacturing, energy, water treatment and other scenarios, compatible with PROFIBUS bus control systems.
